An eight-year-old male child and an adult male have been reported missing.
The Anse La Raye Police Station confirmed this morning with St. Lucia News Online (SNO) that they are spearheading the investigations.
A senior officer from the station told SNO the missing persons report was received this morning and no further information is available at this time.
Several persons have told SNO that the missing persons are related and are both from Canaries. It is believed that they were kayaking on Sunday, however the police is yet to confirm those reports.
This news comes after a body was seen floating about one mile from the shore of the Anse Cochon beach, near Anse La Raye, on Sunday, October 26, 2014.
The body of a male wearing dreadlocks was retrieved from the water, police said.
The body has not been identified to date.
