A male police officer was reportedly injured in a vehicular accident in Ti Colon after 10 p.m. Friday, June 26.
The vehicle reportedly ran off the road and fell in a ditch and landed on its left side. The cause of the accident is not yet clear.
Two other persons were reportedly in the vehicle.
An eyewitness told St. Lucia News Online (SNO) that the Fire Service responded with two ambulances and two fire trucks.
The eyewitness further stated that at least two persons were transported to hospital.
The condition of the injured are unknown at this time, but the eyewitness said the injuries do not appear to be life-threatening.
