One man is assisting the Marigot police following a fatal accident Saturday, November 22 in Coolie Town, Marigot.
Reports are that a motorcycle hit a 65-year-old male pedestrian, Donald Henry, at around 6:00-6:30 p.m. A relative told St. Lucia News Online (SNO) that Henry was on his way to his garden when he got hit by the motorcycle.
The father of two was pronounced dead at hospital.
The Marigot Police Station confirmed the incident but could not confirm allegations that the motorcycle was uninsured and unlicensed. The motorcyclist is in police custody assisting the investigations, police said.
